As a cultural cornerstone of our community, every detail of Acadie Rock inspires you to celebrate the history, language, passion, and spirit that define Acadian life.

On Aug. 15 (Quinze-Août), we go all-out for National Acadian Day, with lively music, dancing in the streets, family-friendly fun, and a sea of starred tricolour flags waving in honour of Acadian resilience and joy.

It all starts in the afternoon with the pre-party at City Hall. Then everyone gets loud and proud during the Tintamarre, a noise-making parade integral to this fête d’Acadie. Everyday items add to the festive din, so bring your spoons, pots and pans, horns and whistles, bells – even small musical instruments – and LET’S MAKE SOME NOISE to mark the survival of Acadian culture. After the parade, all are welcome to gather along the Riverfront for the 15 août show, where bands keep the energy up well after sundown.
Joie de vivre is meant to be shared with everyone, so come join the party and experience it for yourself!
