The Economic Development Agent supports regional economic and workforce development initiatives across Southeast New Brunswick. Reporting to the Economic Development leadership team, this role focuses on coordinating and delivering services that promote workforce participation, entrepreneurship, youth engagement, and business growth. Working in a collaborative, challenging environment, the Economic Development Agent engages with municipalities, employers, educational institutions, and community partners to deliver events, programs, and services that strengthen the regional economic ecosystem.
DescriptionMARKETING COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
As our Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will be a member of the Economic Development team. Your primary role is to support the team in various aspects of marketing communication strategies. You will be responsible for coordinating and creating program schedules, and writing and formatting various reports, memos, newsletters, etc. In this position you will work on developing social media and public awareness campaign content. You will be responsible for maintaining Economic Development’s brand and will need to work within brand guidelines. You will also support the team through organizing and participating in other public engagement activities like community events, tours, presentations, tradeshows, fairs, etc. If you're a highly motivated, creative person with a passion for economic development, who loves to learn and has excellent writing skills in French and English, we want you on our team! This is a fast-paced role that provides the opportunity to work on many different projects supporting communication activities and enhances the overall profile of the Economic Development Division.
