Whether you are looking for an easy course or want to challenge your navigation skills there will be a course for you. If new to orienteering, there will be a beginner course, no experience is required.
You can go alone or in a team.
Orienteering is a foot race using a map and compass to navigate to various points shown on the map. The points are known as controls. The controls are placed at natural and man-made features, such as, trail junctions and boulders in the forest. A flag will be placed at the control. The flags are two colour, triangle white and orange, flags.
A description of the feature that you are looking for will be provided on the course map. The course map will be provided at the onsite registration.
