Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) can be found in every home, but for safety and environmental reasons, these items cannot be included in your regular waste. HHW is not only hazardous to the environment, but also to anyone who comes into contact with it. These materials may be corrosive, flammable, and poisonous or consist of sharp objects.

SE Recycle would like to remind residents that used needles should be placed in a sharps container and returned to the pharmacy.

HHW materials are to be disposed of FOR FREE at SE Recycle’s Hazardous Waste Depot located at 2024 Route 128 Berry Mills Road, Berry Mills, NB or at the Mobile HHW Unit in the Spring and Fall of each year.

Please refer to our Services for location and hours of operation of our Hazardous Waste Depot.
